i7 7700k / 3000Mhz Ram / Asus - STRIX Z270-E GAMING / Can i use it?

Hello, i was just curious.. i am putting together a 7700k build, and my corsair vengeance ram is clocked at DDR4 - 3000.. can my I7 utilize the 3000 Ram with the Strix Z270 E? or will i have problems? I saw the similar thread, but i have a different motherboard, im not sure if it makes any difference. just want to make sure.

It should work fine. You have to enable XMp to get that speed working. There's also the possibility that you need to overclock the cpu abit to make the ram stable at that speed,that's something you need to find out,but basically should it work.
