With a RYZEN 5 CPU you'd probably be seeing better overall performance for the price.

When it comes to reviews comparing Ryzen 1500x vs locked i5-7600....I don't know which is better as the reviews haven't been telling. The 1500x is a great CPU and if the price is right probably a good buy. Just haven't seen proof it games better than a i5 -7xxx.
