GTX 1060 Issue

Hello, I recently built my first gaming pc and for the first day it was working perfectly, today my GPU has crashed and windows 10 stoped using the GPU and gave an code 43 error in device manager. After reinstalling the Nvidia drivers it seemed to be working fine but now it is freezing and is creating coloured patters/ solid colour. Do I have a faulty GPU?

that can be hand in hand with a card that gone bad .

all you can do is see if a buddy has a good computer...

all you can do is see if a buddy has a good computer that will accept the card and test it in it to see if it does the same if so it maybe a bad card if it works as expected ???????
