Is my cpu good enough for encoding?

So i have an old xeon l5410 that is based upon an 45nm production process, it has 4 cores but is it sufficient for live streaming?

I am using this cpu to power a dedicated live streaming pc, so my gaming pc wont get any lag or frame drops, but will it be able to keep up with 720p/1080p 60fps x264 obs encoding at a resonable bitrate?

I actually have 2 of these cpus, but was planning to see if one would be enough so that i wouldn't need to buy an expensive LGA771 Dual socket server board.

it is not a threaded cpu and is not a fast one

is like a old i5

perhaps decent for 720p i think, you will see some stuttering eventually, not the most perfect experience i think, is worth to try, you already have it set up and running

the worst it can happen is that oyu discover that 4 is not enough so you need a better lga 771 cpu and end up selling those two xeons in favor of a faster single cpu, wiht perhaps, if available, some extra threads to help the encoding process a bit
