Hi, i'm looking forward to building a new system, and DIY case.

1st question: Will these components run together?

i5-6600K
GeForce GTI 1050 Ti 4GT OC, 4GB DDR4
Seasonic SS-400FL2 F3 Platinum-X400
Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB DDR4 2400
Crucial MX300, M.2 - 275GB
GIGABYTE Z170N-WIFI - Intel Z170 ( would like to go for the GAMING version, but the retailer i want to go buy it from doesnt offer it)

2nd question: I want to build my own case, using this (with some mods, currently thinking about dust filters and big intake at the bottom, possibly with a vent). What do you think about that?

Building your own case is admirable. Do you have the skills and tools to do it right? Gonna be a bit of engineering, are you good with measurements? Might end up costing you A LOT more than just getting a basic ITX case and modifying it, or at least getting some practice.

I don't want to praise myself, but I think I can do it; I'm confident at that. The other thing is, will these components work together? I'm bit on a budget, and don't want to risk that, so i want to be completely sure before i buy it
