Weird Temperature Readings

I just finished a new build and I'm currently running at stock speeds and checking out temps under load.

I noticed that I was getting a fairly high temperature reading in the bios of about 50C. From reading the Intel temperature sticky it doesn't look like this is too far outside of the norm given that it is only displaying the highest core temp. When I run Core Temp 1.7, it shows my temps around 30C at idle, going up to about 45-55C average and maxing out around 75C under load (Battlefield 1 on ultra for 2-3 hours).

Open Hardware Monitor showed my temp at 30C during idle and 75C at max but also had a temp sensor that showed about 106C at idle and oddly goes down to about 80C when the processor starts running under load. Some other threads where users posted about open hardware monitor seemed to show that it also recorded some suspect super high temps as well. Any thoughts on why this is/ where this high temp data is coming from?

I'm running i7 7700K @4.2 with Corsair H55 liquid cooler on an intake fan mounted rear and two fans blowing out on the front of the case. I haven't had any accidental shutdowns or glitches to report.
