Did I make a mistake buying an EVGA 500 W1 power supply for a Ryzen 1600, with GTX 1060 ACX 3.0 build?

This is the exact power supply I bought. I had so much faith in evga as a brand that I didn't look up reviews before buying, but recently I found out that it's not a very good quality power supply. How bad of a mistake did I make? Would it be safe to overlock the cpu without any worry?

It will be powering the following specs (once my motherboard arrives):
-CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
-GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 6 GB ACX 3.0
-Motherboard: MSI B350 PC Mate
-RAM: 8 GB Corsair Balistix Stick (Single channel, 2400 Mhz)
-Storage: Samsung Evo 840 SSD + 500 GB WD 7200 rpm HDD

According to the Coolermaster Powersupply Calculator, The peak power draw will be about 270 W, and they recommend at least a 320 W power supply.

Thank you! I've provided as much information as I could but please let me know if I should add anything else.

Hi - give it a try on returning, I agree with RARRAF the EVGA W1, B1, N1 aren't the way to go (I think...
since you have only just bought it then I would ask to change it
PSU Tier list tier 1-2 are good for gaming
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

I would recommend an EVGA SuperNova Gold G2 / or new G3 /GS / GQ, Platinum P2 / PS, or Titanium T2 or a Seasonic M12-II Evo or S12-II

GOOD PSU EVGA is a B2, G2, G3, P2, GS, PS, or T2. Avoid the EVGA B1 and G1 series I bought a G3 with 7year garentee

That's what I might do, but I'm not sure if they'll take it back. I bought it 2 days ago from Amazon, and I do have prime, but I unpackaged everything already so i don't know if they'll take it back.

G1 is fair tho) Most PSU brands have some down n dirty models, along with the good ones.

BTW, don't feel bad. I made the same mistake (my orig PSU was on johnnylucky.org Lemon List),
and the reason I am on this site now trying to help others.

If you have to keep it, it'll run your system.

They accepted my order for a return so I will be sending it back, with a $5 restocking fee. I decided that if I buy a good power supply now, I'll be able to keep it for a very long time without worries. So I ordered an evga 750w G3 power supply which is much more expensive but it was on sale on Amazon.ca, and has an excellent review on JonnyGuru. Thank you everyone very much for the help. Should I post a picture here when it arrives?

Gr8! - Happy gaming!

I'm aware of that, but it means I won't really have to buy another power supply at least another 10 years.
Thanks to prime same-day shipping it arrived just now
