Hello all!

I'm going to buy the EVGA GTX1060 6 GB gpu to run alongside my i5 7600k. There's only one problem... I am running two monitors that use VGA which sandwich a hdmi TV, the gpu has 3 display ports, a dvi d port and a hdmi port, I am using a hdmi to dvi d adapter and a VGA to hdmi adapter, which leaves one VGA monitor out..
first question, will adapters work with the graphics card?? And 2) can anyone find me a vga to display port adapter that will definitely work with no faults?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much in advance,
Kind regards
Marc.

Solution
Get the cheapest card that you always can! Don't go for EVGA gtx 1060. Get the Asus Dual , it's cheap and cool and runs good. It has 2xhdmi 2xdisplay port and 1xdvi-d.

I suggested https://www.amazon.com/Accell-DisplayPort-VGA-Active-Adapter/dp/B003HC85D2 as the solution for his question but second guessed myself and deleted it within less than a minute of posting it. I later saw that my answer was selected as the best. I wanted to see if there were some better options out there because I wasn't confident in my answer.

I was unaware that an OP could assign a best answer to one that was in the trash can. I apologize for complicating things.

It must have happened simultaneously... A deleted answer can't be selected as best answer. But new users accidentally select best answer a lot. I thought I would give the thread a shot. A lot of people won't contribute to a thread that already has a best answer.

Nor can it benefit others without a solution present. Thanks for that.

Last time I accidentally selected a best answer was less than a week ago :pfff: Still relatively new, compared to SR-71:pt1cable: There that big green button and then that link.........
