Help, a few days ago on games like The Witcher 3 I was getting temperatures of around 40 to 50 degrees Celsius now it's 60, on Sonic Adventure 2 about 20 now it's 45. I don't know what's caused the temps to get so hot as I haven't messed with anything to do with them.

I have a Core i7 4770k with a Corsair H45 liquid cooler

I got this water cooler fitted about a month ago

Also I was wondering whether it could be because it's been pretty hot were I live over the past few days but I doubt it.

I've seen temperatures as high as 70 on the Witcher 3

It could be that your water cooler is starting to fail, keep a close eye on things like the pump rpm etc, or dust in the radiator grill etc, as well as raised temps in the weather, all...

It could be that your water cooler is starting to fail, keep a close eye on things like the pump rpm etc, or dust in the radiator grill etc, as well as raised temps in the weather, all accounts for it.

Haswell chips run very hot anyway, so you've been quite lucky with your temps so far.
