I want to add a GeForce GTX 1050 ti graphics card but my current motherboard ( GA-78LMT-S2) will not support one. Is there any motherboard that is cheap, good, and compatible with this graphics card.

My current hardware is:

CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.80GHZ Quad-Core
Ram: 8GB DDR3
HDD: 1TB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT720 1GB Video Card
Power Supply: 500W

The Graphics Card I Want To Buy: https://www.amazon.ca/EVGA-GeForce-GAMING-Support-04G-P4-6251-KR/dp/B01MEFABEL/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1495908640&sr=8-3&keywords=nvidia+1050

Thank You

Why do you say it isn't supported?

Expansion slots

PCI Express 2.0 x16
1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16

It is compatible.

Yes sure there is. I suggest buying this Asus motherboard Asus M5A78L-M LX3 it supports PCI-E 2.0 and it's cheap. By the way for this price you can get rx 570 which is better then 1050 ti. In my opinion you should add 20 usd and get the cheapest 1060 6gb version that you can find. Of course it's your money but that's what I am suggesting. One more thing what do you mean by saying cheap? This motherboard goes for 40 usd is it a good price? Hope I helped and if you need anything more just respond I will help for sure dude! :)

EDIT: I didn't have checked but your motherboard does support PCI-E 2.0 so you don't need a new motherboard.

Buy why fix something that is not broken? I don't know if the OP was misinformed or what.
