Sure, no problem- keep it DDR4 2400. That's what the extra slots are there for. You can also do one 8GB stick if it's cheaper and leave the last slot empty. This way, you still have the space to add another 8GB stick down the road if necessary for a total of 24GB (way overkill for most though).
