Hey guys.
For my backup system I went ahead and grabbed a Masterbox 5. I am liking the case.

I went over to the local store and bought a cool thermaltake ring fan for the front, and my gosh was it easy to install...
it was easy because Coolermaster uses these plastic snap together case fan mounting pins....

MY question is where can you buy these!?!?!?!?!
They work so darn well, but everywhere I go I cannot seem to find them, just something that looks totally different. You put one end into the fan, and then a pin goes THROUGH the first pin, and flairs out the end sealing the fan into the case... much easier than screws I would like to buy a bunch!

Anyone know how to get these? Thanks.

My guess is that those 8x matching pairs of tool-less fan mounting pins are exclusive for Cooler Master cases only and can't be bought separately. Though, to know for sure, write an e-mail to Cooler Master and ask them if there's some retailer that sells those matching pairs of tool-less fan mounting pins individually or if Cooler Master is willing to sell you those directly.

Also found a pic about them,

Yeap those are the ones!
I only got 4 loose pins, the other ones are already mounted to the fans. Shoot I was hoping they were a standardized thing. While i'm sure they are not as sturdy as regular screws, I very much enjoy them. I will give those guys a call after the holiday!
any idea what that single metal 90 degree bracket is for? The case manual does not say much about anything....

According to the review where i found that pic, the metal bracket is "security lock accessory with 1x mounting screw".

It attaches to the rear of the case, just at the top right corner of PSU,

Once you have that metal bracket in place and you have your side panel closed, you can put a padlock through the metal bracket to keep your hardware safe from other people messing with it.

My AMD build's case, Chieftec DF-02B-U3, also has that bracket for padlock but mine is built-in,

aaah okay! Thank you for that. that makes sense!
So the last few days I have been calling Coolermaster within their business hours... and I get put on hold with "one person ahead of you"
and then it rings and goes to voicemail... left two messages with name and phone numbers... they do not seem to have a traditional email either. I cannot get a hold of these guys lol!
It is kinda pissing me off!

I emailed two addresses, both of them are Asian people and it came back saying they were away from the computer and to email the other person...

Contact info of Cooler Master Europe is written here,
link: http://www.cmstore.eu/contact.html

There, you have 3 options: 1.write an e-mail; 2.contact via direct chat on their web page during opening hours; or 3.call them during opening hours. You can also take a look at their official forum and ask your question about fan pins there too.

Depending on where you live, there are plenty of phone numbers to call too,
link: http://www.coolermaster.com/service/contactUs-Europe.html

If you bought your PC case from retail shop and not from Cooler Master directly then contact your retailer and ask them the same question. If they are helpful, they will look into this matter and find out if you can order the fan mounting pins separately.
