So I am aware that this motherboard has 2 RGB headers on it where it can be controlled from a program. And I was wondering if these RGB lights can connect to it. If they cannot can you help me find one for a low enough price?

& the splitter is just so you can run 2 ways off the motherboard plug in the first place because its in a stupid place imo.

Theyll do the job though, theres probably more than you need (I think 2 strips is enough) & you dont need the psu or remote etc.

I suppose you could infact just use 2 of the strips & the splitter for your case & find another use for the rest of the kit - light behind your monitor or pc desk etc.

after a lot of searching if found if you search for 5050 RGB LED or 5050 LED strip you will find a lot of choices that are compatible for what you are looking for. just make sure they're under 2 meters or 6 feet for the best quality/brightness. also just in case make sure that the maximum power rating is 12V/2A

You only have one useable rgb header for actual strips mate.
The other one is solely for the led on the spire cooler that comes with the 1700 , I wouldn't plug a strip in because its very low ampage (1a)

The proper rgb header can hold 3a which is around 120cm of 12v stripping , I'm running 2x12 inch 5050 rgb programmable strips fine.

They both look the same on the picture of the motherboard. (picture).
what rgb strips do you have, can you send me a link, and or which would you suggest for me im going for a red theme and my case has almost a full window.

oh wow sorry I was looking at the wrong motherboard.
just ignore that picture and I cant find where the single rgb header is on this motherboard.
and which ones you would suggest

Youve linked to the b350m pro 4 asrock board in your original post mate ???

This picture is from an asus rog with 2 x proper rgb headers.

the b350 asrock board theyre clearly labelled

look at the top right corner of the board.

So which board are you actually buying ??

Led strips themselves are you after single colour or multi colour programmable ( multi colour rgb are more expensive)

Wat case is it ?? What layout are you after in the case ??
I just used 2 hard cased strips, 1 front ,1 back linked with wire join behind the motherboard tray which is what I was after - some people would just buy a single strip of flexible & loop it along the entire case with no joins,it depends what you want to do.
