Will My system be compatible with GTX 1050 Ti ?

my system specs are-
Motherboard- ASUS P7H55-M LX
PROCESSOR- Intel I3 540@ 3.06 GHZ
RAM- 8GB ddr3
PSU- 400 W

I want to game @ 1080p with med-high settings at 40-60 FPS
Please give a response and tell will GTX 1050 ti be compatible with my rig.

Compatible yes. Bottlenecked a bit by your CPU though. What is the make and model of your PSU?

Your i3 is too weak. The bottleneck will be too big. Looking at your psu it seems like a fishy one. I suggest you build this rig: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/pDysr7

That PSU is not good and you should invest in a bigger and better one that you can afterwards keep in a future build. Your CPU as jakubek160 said, will bottleneck your system but it depends what you play. In GPU intensive games, you will see a small loss in performance but in CPU intensive games, the bottleneck will be fairly noticable.

The witcher 3 - gpu intensive , in novigrad cpu intensive. Battlefield 1 gpu intensive and cpu on maps with rain. Wildlands gpu intensive. Get a better one.
