ASRock Killer X370 first time POST taking forever/not POSTing at all.

After building my new rig with the x370 Killer, I turned it on to start the initial POST. It's been a really long time and nothing has happened yet. Everything is plugged in where it should be and the monitor is connected to the video card via HDMI. My RAM sticks are Corsair Vengeance 3000 in A2 and B2. All I can tell you is that the board is pulsing red with its LEDs and there is a little green light on the graphics card. The fans aren't moving either. I don't know if it is just taking forever to POST or if I did something wrong. I think I'm going to leave the room for a few hours and see if anything has happened when I come back, but in case nothing happens I want to make this post to try solutions as soon as possible. I could always take it to Micro Center and make it their problem, but let's see if I can fix it here. I know Ryzen boards take a long time to POST, but this is kind of off putting. Here's my part list if it helps

Thank you in advance.

UPDATE: It's been 4 hours and nothing has changed. So I decided to press the front panel power button and the computer loaded to a black screen with the words "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key."

ANOTHER UPDATE: So I installed Windows 10 onto a USB thumb drive and stuck it in the computer and restarted it, now it's boosting right to the thumb drive! I can fiddle around with that, I think I can do this from here.

ANOTHER ONE: Well, the computer works, that's a relief. Windows 10 is loaded up and I'm sitting on the desktop. I didn't go through any bios or install any drivers, so I think I should do that.

Do you know what bios version is on the motherboard ? it should say on a sticker on the bios chip or on the box the board came in.

The board you have needs a later bios version than the original one for that CPU to work in it, most AM4 boards shipped only a couple of months ago with RyZen 7 only support, have a look at the support list here: http://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/X370%20Killer%20SLIac/index.asp#CPU

I do not know what version the BIOS is. I don't know how I would check if nothing happens on the screen. Also, how do I update the bios in it's current state where nothing happens on screen? Should I install it on a USB stick then plug it into the new PC?

Not sure what to do now
