so currently i was wondering if i got a faulty chip and i wuld like to see what kind of resaults do you guys get

i ran the CPU-z stress test for 10 min and these are my resaults

im just confused as to why am i getting the same temperatures with a 0.1Ghz overclock than if i have the chip set to 4.5Ghz(and also my Vcore voltage usage is a bit lower when "overclocked")

im cooling my CPU with the EVO 212 using the arctic silver 5 thermal paste(i remounted the cooler and got the same temperatures)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

when i get my next pay i will try a water cooler to see if there is any difference(any recomendations?)

Your idle temps are too high. The temps on the right, which are also too high, are from when your cpu is being stressed. On the left is at idle. The speed and temps are not the same at idle and at load.

Cooler Master has some nice 240mm rads as does Corsair.

i know they are high .... i just dont understand why ... my ambient temp is between 21 and 25°C

Are you using auto overclock on the motherboard? That would probably be giving your cpu too much voltage. That would cause heat. What is the vcore at at load? It is the very first line in HWMonitor. That bit lower that you see is called a droop. Sure it looks like the voltage is lower but it was actually higher to begin with due to the overclock.

It might be a good idea to lay off the overclock till you get a decent cooling solution. The i7 7700k runs hot.

my MOBO has the Vcore set to 1.300V and i cant change it

and my Vcore max goes up to 1.400V but it awereages at areound 1.200V - 1.300V

Those mid 30s are what your cpu is at idle. I'm sure they would be lower with better cooling. 1.4 vcore is a little high so I am assuming(even though you didn't say) that this is an auto overclock by pressing 1 button. I think you should back off the overclock till you get a better cooler. The 212 evo is ok, but really not that good for the i7 7700k.

i get the same resoults if im using 4.5Ghz ...

i got the ga z270x gaming 5 mobo ... and i didnt mess with the bios ... i just set the ram (XMP) and the OC (the mobo allready has the overclock settings up to 5Ghz)

First you say you didn't mess with the bios. Then you say you "just" set the xmp and the OC. THAT is messing with the bios.

My point is the 212 evo is not a good enough cooler for stress testing the i7 7700k or overclocking it. Get better cooling.

Manufacturers put more voltage then necessary on the cpu to ensure a stable overclock from the auto overclock. It tends to add more heat. Learn how to manually overclock. That will solve your heat problems. Also it helps to have decent airflow though your case with some fans.

You may want to read this before you spend money on that 280mm radiator. This is the product page. Could it be that the maker of this product does no know what it is capable of? You come in here and ask for help. you also ask questions. You argue about the answers.

http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower-silent-series/silencio452/

Good luck with your 280mm radiator.
