So as the title states I'm not really sure if my motherboard will be compatible with the GTX 1070. I'm a bit worried if my CPU will bottleneck it.

My full specs are
MOTHERBOARD - ASRock B85M Pro3
CPU - Intel Core i5-4570
RAM - 8GB DDR3
GPU - R9 380
OC - Windows 10 Pro

:D I don't know which 1070 that is. Some manufacturers release cards that require more than Nvidia's page says it will.

I just want to make sure there won't be any hiccups now that we know the motherboard will happily accept the 1070.

THe ptherboard says Expansion Slots
PCI Express 3.0 x16
1 x PCI Express 3.0 x16

That slot is compatible with any GFX card including the Titan or the Quaddro or the Fire whatever AMD is making these days.

Short answer? Yes, the motherboard is 100% compatible.

Which PSU do you have? Make sure the 1070 will have the necessary PCIe supplementary power cable(s) and food.

Your issue is now the RAM. I have the 4690K , 8GB RAM and a 970 FTW from EVGA. I eventually hope to upgrade to the 1070 or possibly the 1080. First comes the RAM. I need 16GB. Depending on settings and the game I get very close to 8GB RAM usage when gaming.

The GTX 1070 is physically compatible with your rig (just check the GPU model you will get, esp. the length, if it will fit your chassis).

However, your i5-4570 will choke ("bottleneck") the max. possible performance of the GTX 1070 in selected CPU-intensive games (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EQOWVLxk0DOFXKfzCmz9lEZ-qpMb7mIvt8KUYek69A8/edit#gid=0).
