Hello,

I have been playing games with my pc for quite a while now and it has been going great. Though, I have stumbled upon a problem, my CPU does not get the same amount of points in benchmarks and it is really making me worried.

In CineBench my CPU in the "CPU-test" should be getting around 1050cb, but it only gets 450cb. Which means that it is not using the full potential, or that my CPU is broke... Any way to fix this?

Important specs:
CPU: i7 7700K Kaby Lake
GPU: Strix GTX 1080 8GB
Ram: 16GB's

Appreciate all help. ):

In the task manager, i mean by going over to the "Performance" Section, run cinebench and see if the cpu spikes up to 90+ % Usage.

If it does, then there should be any faults with your CPU via usage-wise.

I'd suggest looking at task manager to see CPU Usage.

If task manager doesn't spark anything, i'd take a look at the CPU Itself.

1# Take the cpu out of the motherboard

2# Inspect for any broken pins or damaged pins.

3# If there are damaged pins, maybe you COULD Try bending them back and trying it, but this can be risky.

4# If this all fails, you could try and get a new one by RMA.

In your photo of task manager, it shows that the CPU is running at 100% Usage while running at low speeds.

I suggest setting your battery options to "High Performance", this might help the CPU reach full potential.

What cooler, motherboard, and PSU are you using? Is your UEFI updated to latest version? Your CPU looks to be running at 51% for the test. I just ran the same benchmark myself, and it clearly shows 100% usage on all 4 Cores of my 7600k OC'd system for the duration of the test in Task Manager. I scored 759cb in my case. I'm also using the Creators Update of Windows 10 and power plan is on Balanced.
