Relevancy of GTX 1060 3gb? an 8GB Ram?

I'm starting into Pc's I want to get the GTX 1060 3GB and 8GB of ram with my build I just don't want to buy parts that will be obsolete in a year or two. I only want 1080p around very high or ultra gaming an anything above 30fps is good enough for me. Will these parts still be good with say the next two or three years?

you should look at the 4GB Rx580 or the 6GB 1060
8GB RAM is borderline alright, but you can always upgrade it in a year or two if needed
