Hey guys.
So for all of you that play rust... what FPS do you get on procedural maps and what settings do you play on? could you also tell me your specs please :)

I get like 50FPS on procedural maps for some reason.
Here are my specs -
GTX 960 2GB GPU
AMD A8-6600K CPU
8GB RAM
EVGA SUPERNOVA 650 G2 PSU
F2A55M-HD2 MOTHERBOARD

Anyone know why I get such low FPS?

That's not going to fix your issue at all. It's a widespread game issue. I'm running the game on my laptop, and it barely uses my i7-3630QM. I'm also running a RX 480. What happens is, game starts out running perfectly fine ( Roughly 80FPS on max settings), then all the sudden after like 5 minutes, GPU, CPU usage drops to 20% each and the FPS drops rapidly. I end up with 15-20FPS. It's a game optimization issue. The game should run fine on a system lower than yours. Don't listen to someone who's done absolutely no research and is attempting to blame your system. Sure, yours isn't the best, but is far from what you need to run the game at a reasonable rate.

They've poorly optimized the game and people with 1080TI's paired with a 7700K's...

Thank you for your answer. Would you be able to recommend me a good CPU that would be a good fit for my GPU?

You'd need a new motherboard and a whole new setup to really improve on anything. Would require new ram as well pretty much.

Your GPU and PSU are good, but the rest of what you have is kinda low end.

They've poorly optimized the game and people with 1080TI's paired with a 7700K's are still having the exact same issues.

What happens when you play other games?
