BSOD - Boot Drive not Detected

A couple days ago, I got a BSOD and now my laptop has not been able to boot properly.

It gets stuck on the Lenovo splash screen, then a couple seconds later it shows a Boot Drive not Detected screen and it doesn't give me any options for a drive to boot from.

I've tried unplugging the internal battery and holding the power button for 15 seconds, tried removing the SSD drive and putting it back in, and have tried selecting Legacy Support in the BIOS settings. When I ran bootable diagnostics for Lenovo, it said Storage was unavailable to be tested - however it did pass all the other tests.

Is there anything else I should do or anymore information I need to provide?

Thanks!

Sure, that would qualify as an adequate test that indicates the drive has a hardware issue and may need replacement.

While a lot less common in my experience, SSDs still do fail. I would remove it and test it on another machine to be sure, but it appears that is the issue.

Either the drive install is corrupted or the drive itself is dead. Can you boot from a USB stick (like a Linux Mint Live stick made using Unetbootin that is totally automatic on another computer) and then test the drive, or attach the drive to another computer for testing?

And what model Lenovo and which OS version?

Thanks for the quick reply!
Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 , Windows 8
I ran Lenovo's bootable diagnostics tool which used an ISO file on a flash drive. It tested features of the computer that all passed - however, it was unable to identify a storage drive to test. Is this what you mean?
