Long story short, the build did take me longer then expected, i havent built a comp in a while, so i was very concerned with a number of things (namely the back support for the kraken was very loose until i installed the pump and the required amount of vga cords to the 1080ti. and 8 pin and a 6 pin :O).

However, turn on the comp after the 4 hour build, BOOM. lights on, fans spinning, success!!!.... until nothing loads up onto the monitor. no post screen or anything. my first concern is i see no RGBs for the kraken... was hoping its a driver thing but as its powered by usb 2.0, i thought there would be lights...

so, the trouble shoot begins, in order of tried fixes, with no success

*tried a different VGA port monitor
*tried booting with each ram stick
*re-worked cables
*reseated processor
*reworked aio
*tried botting from HDMI monitor to mother board with no GFX card
*reset cmos

nothing has worked thus far. im also not sure of the M2 drive. it was super easy to install but could that prevent post screen? its the only hardrive im running but dontt see how it could cause the problem Mobo has RGB lights, appears to have power. PSU seems to be running power effectively. GFX doesnt seem to be the culprit because it wont display attached to mobo. CPU is out by nature of almost having it never be the culprit. I dont think the comp would boot at all if it were the aio. i feel very cool air from the radiator. ram also doesnt appear to be the issues.

im lost. i literally brought it to a repair shop but have zero faith in the person i spoke with. he seems to have comparable knowledge to me, albeit with more resources to test hardware.

does anyone have any idea? im so lost guys, im losing it. my first issue with a build like this, takes away all the fun :(

thanks guys

sorry, i fixed grammatical errors.

ive reviewed that thread several times. ive dont it all minus the breadboarding. i understand the majority of the is still relevant but as it was posted in 2009, i was hoping their may be something im missing

especially as that thread is very basic info.

im trying to find the logic here and not seeing it. there are no build errors

If it does not work, there is an error somewhere.
Either a part is broken, or something is not connected correctly, or some setting is incorrect.

ive tried multiple monitors, so i dont think thats the issue. in fact, im still using the old rig and the old monitor right now.

unfortunately, the manual section for troubleshooting is non existent. to be honest, im not even sure the the Q-Code or Q_leds are. there is a 00 on what i assume is the Qcode on the upper right part of the mobo.

this was exactly it. the repair guy called back and told me (without me suggesting it to him) the 00 Q-Code is an indicator that mobo isnt correctly functioning. its supposed to go through a series of codes and when stuck on 00 is a sign of faulty mobo.

the 1080ti, cpu and ram were all function in other computers.
