:bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:Hello out there to all your Cyber fanatics. Could anyone out there show me step by step how to make a dual boot system using 1 external and 1 internal SSHD's; something easy that i could understand. Also; also to show me how to use Command Prompt for this purpose. If you want to give me a good link on how to achieve this; that wll be all right also.

Thank you,

Allan

Well...the anniversary release, 1607, is pretty much out of the question.

But to dual boot?
One issue is your external drive. That won't work. Windows really, really dislikes being installed on an external. And even if you do get it running, it will be slow as dirt.

But...let's assume 2 internal drives, or 2 partitions on a single drive.

It all depends on how you wish to choose what OS to boot into when yous tart the system.
And generally, you install the older OS first.

The easy way
Install Win 7 on a drive or partition.
Get it all running, activated and updated.
Then, install Win 10 on the other drive.

The Win 10 boot manager will take over somewhat.

When you boot up, you'll be presented with a fancy screen asking what OS to boot into. DO nothing, and it will go to whichever is the default.
Like this screen:

(ignore that is says "Technical Preview" This was in the early days of Win 10 testing)

The BIOS way
Install Win 7 on a drive, with only that one drive connected.
Get it all updated and running
Disconnect that physical drive
Connect the other physical drive.
Install Win 10 on that drive.
Get IT all running and updated.

Now...at boot up, you have to interrupt the boot process, and choose which drive and OS to boot into.
