Which GPU will last longer?

Hey guys, was just wondering which GPU will last me atleast 4 years. Will just do mostly gaming at 2k later on..now on a 2560x1080 panel...and some editing. Stuck between choosing the Asus 1080 ROG Strix and Gigabyte 1080 extreme gaming premium...will just buy a gpu which will last in the long run.

Asus strix is just fancy , get EVGA or Gigabyte in terms of quality and performance. If I were you I would go for the cheapest 1080 I could find. There is no need to get overpriced cards. But still I like EVGA and in terms of customer service I highly recommend them. :)

It all depends on your preference. If you'll be overclocking and such, I would honestly recommend the ROG Strix, it'll usually do better and it's very reputable since so many people have ROG strix edition cards, such as myself.

Now, which one will last longer is a different question. It's what you will be doing with the card, and other such variables, and it's all dependent on how lucky you get with so said card. Some cards can actually crap out on you really early, but most graphics cards come with 3 year warranties, so you should be fine if anything occurs.

Gigabyte xtreme all day long, Ive had a rog 980 ti and then and currently 980 ti extreme, it runs quieter cooler and overclocks better. I was an Asus only user for years until I tried the 980 ti xtreme after having lacklustre experience with the rog one.
