So i have a Hp Pavilion g6, and it's a bit slow so i am thinking of changing the processor, and ram. What are the compatible processor, and ram for this notebook pc??

changing the cpu on a laptop is not an option on 99% of them. and even if you have the 1% usually there not much of an upgrade.

how much ram do you currently have? what os? it might not be worth adding more ram but it could be...... what actually model number do you have. its usually 6 or 7 char long of numbers/letters.

I see, can you link me a good and cheap laptop that can run games on decent fps? My parents dont like spending that much money :(

Talk to them about your laptop, and tell them the guy on the forum said it's nearly unusable even for just word documents and browsing, especially with modern software which is more demanding.
This is bordering on a necessity for school work, you need, 100% NEED a decent laptop for school.
Nothing more important than education, and this is just another cost under that, it shouldn't be viewed as anything else.
