How to ensure cooler installation was successful?

This has reference to my previous thread which remained unreplied...I got this computer all assembled and there aren't any techies around here,nearby.So as the chassis plate is obstructing to check the mobo's back,how do I ensure stock cooler is properly seated.I am newbie and looking at the push pins does not give a clear idea.

check your operating temperatures.
the CPU will throttle or system will reboot if it gets too hot. if the cooler is not seated it will overheat.

98c is the max temp for that CPU.
85c while in use seems okay to me.

the only true way to verify the coolers placement is to remove and replace.

It's high, you might be able to improve it a little by replacing the thermal paste and reseating the cooler. The intel stock coolers just suck too so your temps will be higher.
