Hi guys.
Anyone an idea?
I have a Gugabyte GTX1050 TI card with HDMI, DVI and DP as connectors.
My two Monitors have either VGA, DVI or DP as inputs and I try to run them with one HDMI to DP cable and one DP to DP cable.
2nd one works but the connection via the HDMI port is dead. I dont even see the screen in my system settings as a 2nd Monitor.
Due to the lack of (a long enough) cable I wasnt able yet to test DP and DVI connection together but I know the DVI is working on its own.

What am I missing?

Thank you for any input you may provide.

Solution
Hi all.
So switched Cables between Monitor1 and 2. Works.
Used DVI Cable to Monitor 2 (DP Cable to Monitor 1). Works.

Did not yet try the DP to HDMI cable from my old PC.

Hi Uaon.
Please note, the Monitor input is DP.
But to come to your question yes, only the DP Cable is plugged in and neither manually selecting DIGITAL as input nor auto sensing works.

\Is it possible for you to connect to another monitor, perhaps even a tv using hdmi, to rule out the card?

Hi Dotas1.
No Adapter but the cable is directly HDMI to DP.
Tonight I will try a few things like swapping cables between the two monitors, trying the HDMI to DP on my old PC and (if I find a cable long enough) using the DVI output too to see if I get two monitors working.
I'll update again.
