Hey everyone.
As the thread name sugests I'm building my first PC.

But now I think that I cannot power the GTX 1060 with this PSU..
Am right? If I am, what other PSU can I get?

Ty in advance and sorry for any bad english as it is not my first language.
(Also if this is a dumb PC, well I do not know much about all this stuff)

--- // UPDATED // ---

The PC atm:

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G
Seasonic S12II 520W
Intel Core i7-7700K Quad-Core 4.2GHz
Motherboard Asus Prime B250M-K
RAM HyperX Fury 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-2133MHz CL14
Cooler CPU Cryorig H7

Solution

If you're not overclocking you don't need a Cryorig or a 7700K. Go with the locked processor instead.

It will be able to accommodate your Graphics card, but if you plan on getting another one and hooking them up in SLI or plan on Upgrading your build one day, you might want to go with a higher wattage PSU.

Hope this helps!

I do not plan on getting another one.

My doubt is if this that particular PSU has the necessary cables (do not know if that's the correct term) to power both the motherboard and the graphic card, since the GTX 1060 (for what I've read) needs that 8 pin cable.. And I think the Nox Urano SX 500w does not have one, but I'm not sure..

I see some problems with your proposed parts.

1. Yes, 500w is sufficient.
But your graphics card requires more than the usual 6 pin pcie power connector. It needs an 8 pin connector.
If the psu does not have such a connector, it likely can not supply sufficient power.
Next, it seems to be an off brand which is suspect.
Buy a tier 1 or 2 unit from a list such as this:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
Seasonic is always good. Look for Seasonic s12II 520w which seems to be on sale.

2. I7-7700@3.6 may not be your best choice for gaming.
I7-7700K@4.2 will not cost much more.
OTOH, if you are willing to overclock, the less expensive I5-7600K can usually be overclocked to the 4.9 range.

3. Be aware that while H110 motherboards are cheap, they may not run a 7th gen processor without a bios update to currency.
If the motherboard does not have that update, you will need to use a 6h gen cpu to do the update.
If you do not plan on overclocking, be safe and buy a B250 motherboard.
If you do plan on overclocking, a Z270 motherboard will be needed.

3. Non K processors will come with a suitable stock cooler.
The main reason to buy an aftermarket cooler is to reduce noise by using a quieter 120mm fan.
Then, also, downdraft coolers are not very efficient. Cryorig H7 tower type would be much better.
H7 would be fine if you went with a K processor.

4. If you want 8gb of ram, buy a 2 x 8gb ram kit that will operate in faster dual channel mode.
Do not plan on adding a 8gb stick in the future; it is not guaranteed to work; ram must be matched.
If you ever want 16gb, buy your 2 x 8gb kit up front.

5. tips:
Buy yourself a #2 magnetic tip Philips head screwdriver for assembly.
While waiting for parts, download and read, cover to cover the case and motherboard manuals.

1st of all, tyvm fpr the time and information.

I'm choosing a Seasonic S12II 520W for PSU.

All those changes did increase the price by small amount.. But I'll take it all into consideration.
Also buying 2 8GBs of the same ram isn't the same as buying 1 2x8 pack?

And is really that much of a difference between the I7-7700 and the I7-7000K?
(I do not plan to overclock.. Mainly because I have no idea on how to do it)

Also, I'm assuming I would need a new Case to be able to assemble the Cryorig H7?

Ty for your time.

My current case is a Antec Nine Hundred.

You can reuse that case, but I would also suggest buying a new case that has better cable management features. You also need to get a better PSU - that is the one area where you need to do more research on.

Oh, so the Seasonic S12II 520W sugested by geofelt falls short?

As for the case I'll probably stick with this one, since that would increase the cost even more and tbh, it's already getting too expensive for me.. So I'll just reuse this one.. I'll just try to arranje the cables the best I can.. Ty for info tho..

No that's a good PSU. I would definitely use that suggestion. Alternately if you want to go modular, an EVGA GS / GQ series are essentially the same unit.

Ty for the info.

The shop where I'm buying everything from does not have EVGA apparently, so I'll stick with the S12II.

Also are the benefits of a modular PSU just the cable management?

Also could this setup accommodate a Gtx 1070 in the furture?
Or would it be more "effective" to buy a 1070 now instead of a 1060?

Yeah the modular cables help a great deal with cable clutter. If you want modular you could also go with the seasonic m12ii which is the modular version of the s12ii, I think it's about $10 more. That setup would accommodate even a gtx 1080 ti so no worries. If the 1070 is in your budget it would be more cost effective than buying a 1060 now and upgrading later.

No go with the 1070 now. I always say that you should buy what you want, rather than what you think you should get. If you buy with upgrading in mind, you'll never be satisfied with anything you have, and I say that because I've been there, and it starts with a part or two here or there, then soon you have a full PC and a pile of spare parts you won't have any use for. So it's worth it to spend the extra $100 now and not have to worry about upgrading in the future.

Update (for those who care xD)

"Just" bought the mb Asus Prime B250M-K, the seasonic psu and the H7 cryorig.

Now I'm afraid the mb doesn't really have the space to accomodate everything xd.. Pretty sure I messed up there..
