In my bios, my stock i7 7700k is set to max 1.17 vcore, however running a game or something it goes up to 1.3 sometimes. Why is this? Is it normal? It causes my cpu to be warmer than it would need to be...

Using CPU-Z looking at the tab "Cpu voltage"
It's frustrating that it goes that high with the voltage on non overclocked...

After looking for a long time, I finally found this setting. The LLC is set to "auto" and I cant see what voltage that is. I cant disable it, only cange this from "auto" to "standard" or to "high"

Hmm, I really don't know why your CPU would be going up that much higher than what it's set to under load. I would try updating your BIOS (if you don't already have the latest rev), clearing CMOS, and reapplying your undervolt. Good chance it won't change anything, but it won't hurt. At the end of the day, there's nothing really wrong with the fact it goes up to 1.3V though.

Clock speed is 4.20ghz, that's why It bothers me, and why for example auto boost technology is not the problem...

I noticed something else now too, my ghz seems to be dropping... At some point it's on like 500.61mhz... Is that normal?
