It's pretty much a sure thing. Check out Ed Bott's column of just a few days ago: http://www.zdnet.com/article/heres-how-you-can-still-get-a-free-windows-10-upgrade/
Odds are that it will still work, even though Microsoft "officially" ended the free upgrade. Several tech columns have reported that a valid Win 7 key will still allow an upgrade. I've done it as recently as last February.

Again...Win 7 Ultimate Upgrades to Win 10 Pro.
And assuming it is a valid license, this will probably work.
You should be able to. I used mine about a month ago after I messed up the cloning to a new SSD. You just have to install windows 7 first and then upgrade it to windows ten from the website.

Not necessary. Just use the Win 7 key after installing with the media creation tool.
This will only work on the same computer on which you're currently running Win 7.
After completing, go to Settings, Update, Activation. You should see "Windows is activated with a digital license."
My brother gave me his old PC(i upgraded it a bit ,new gpu and cpu ,but HDD remained the same) so idk if my windows is valid ,i always got updates and i used Produkey app to find out what my KEY showed me my key.

That moves the "valid" needle a little bit towards the shady side of things.
Windows 7 Ultimate, if valid...is NOT cheap.
true ,i always get updates from windows ,does that tell you something ,is there a way to check it?
EDIT:
I wrote ACTIVATE WINDOWS in search bar and pressed it ,then ACTIVATION succesful message popped up.
i guess its genuine then.

The ability to get updates is no definite certainty of validity.
For instance...a completely never activated Win 10 gets updates just like anything else.
What win 10 can i get (pro ,home?) from key of my WIN7 ultimate?
Assuming it is a valid Win 7 Ultimate...it will Upgrade to Win 10 Pro.
It appears that 7ult must be installed, and an honest upgrade made.
I first upgraded using the 7ult key to 10pro. I swapped drives and tried to install straight to 10pro using MS machine recognition/key linking. 10pro installed but would not accept my 7ult key despite having already been tied to 10pro and that particular box. So, the short is 7ult is finicky at best.

If the Win 10 install was activated, you no longer needed to use the Win 7 license.
