My GPU budget is $300, I currently have a GTX 1050ti. Should I upgrade to a GTX 980ti, or should I push my budget a bit and go for a GTX 1070? Thanks!

Solution
I have gtx 1070 at my own right now. My friend has gtx 980 ti. Gtx 1070 is 10% faster with the newest drivers provided by nvidia.

I suggest getting the cheapest gtx 1070 that you can find. I have a founders edition and it does just fine! Hope that I helped! :)

What resolution is your monitor? If you're at 1080p (or lower), the GTX 1060 6GB or the RX 580 8GB are within your budget and will run anything at that rez. These cards trade blows, depending on the title... Something to consider.

Nope don't get the 1060 6gb or rx 580 8 gb if you have the money for the 1070. Both 1060 and rx 580 can not provide good framerates in all of the games in 1080p at the highest details. Ghost recon wildlands , the witcher 3 etc. If you want to get the card for future get the gtx 1070. That's the end of a subject. :)

LOL. That's why I said depending on "titles"...

I saw that you wrote that , but you need to type it way cleaner as the people who are writing the posts are not going to analyze your text 100 times. That's annoying and unfortunate but true. :)
