What do you think about editing video with this cpu? Rendering time doesn't matter, I just want to edit simple 1080p video without color grading in hitfilm 4 express without any lags. Does it good option?
It'll go with 8gb of ram and gtx 1050 ti
since it is a 2 cores cpu and most video editors will not care much about threads, expect longer times converting and exporting projects than a cpu with 4 cores
patience
remember tht some video edition suites will ask for a cuda capable gpu to handle effets and make usage smoother, so cpu is not the only thing that matters
Today I edit my videos on old laptop - intel n3530 4gb ram and intel hd graphics(yes, I'm the most patience person in the world), do you think my setup above is good?
Well...thit CPU isnt indended for editing, but it'll do the job with a bit of lag. Again, not quite sure about it, i may be wrong. But i agree with above that most editing software benefit from real cores, rather than just threads.
I could go with i5, but my budget for pc is only about 500$(I have to buy monitor, windows and other things), I can't find any tests how g4560 work with editing software, also I can't find any i3 test to see how g4560 could work with similar.
An i3 wouldnt be much different, whilst the i5 would be a huge leap.
If you want to improve stability and rendering time, you should defenetly save up for an i5, thats what PC is for, upgrading when possible C:
I've got this cpu. Really recommend it. If you want to render the videos just buy it. It is not as good as i7 but still it does the job. If it doesn't bothers you to render a camtasia studio film for 5-10 minutes.
