Which PSU? Too many options!

Hi all,

I'm completely out the loop in terms of PSUs and there just seems to be so many options out there with no real way of telling whats decent or not (I know wattage is notoriously unreliable).
Anyway my specs are:
Asus p8z68-v pro
Intel i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz
GTX 960
Hyper x 8gb
500gb SSD
500gb SATA
CoolerMaster Extremepower 650W (old!!)

Basically been playing pplayerunknown lately and after 3-4 games, pc just switches off. Only thing I haven't upgraded is the PSU and it is pretty old, so I'm guessing its time for an upgrade. Don't want to spend a fortune (£50-70) and just need something that is suitable for my setup. Thanks in advance.

Solution
the usual suspects, corsair, evga, seasonic, cooler master, thermaltake

the size, 600 watts sounds ok based on your parts consumption

sudden restarts or shutdowns can be the psu, but sometimes could be the mainboard or the gpu, but what is cheaper here to test is a new psu

your cpu and mainboard are a bit old so they can't be ruled out yet
