So last year i build my first system:

i5 6500 (with stock cooler)
MSI h110m gaming
Single 8GB Ram from Crucial
500w BeQuite Powersupply
1 tb HDD
used MSI GTX 970 from a friend
Windows 10

My problem is that i get really bad fps in some games.
For example:

CS GO 90-150 (depending on map and situation)
League of Legends ~130
BF1/BF4 ~80 but after 10 mins its always under 60 (settings doesnt change anything)

But games like GTA 5 run perfectly on my system.
I thought i could maybe be the cpu cause settings dont effect my fps in those games very much, but i didnt find anything that could be wrong. I reinstalled Windows 2 times and it didnt made any difference.

Thanks for any help :)

Solution
if you get 80fps looking at a wall in bf1 then run around the map and come back to the same wall with only 60fps thats probably you exceeding your vram since you only have 3.5gb of usable ram
csgo fps is fine
so is leage framerates

make sure your 970 is under 75c (which can be easily done by setting the fan curve to run at 50% fan speed around 70c) and make sure your cpu isnt throttling because shitty vrms on that msi motherboard/exceeding cpu thermal limit. it can also be your hard drive if its super slow :p

90fps are very bad in cs go, my old laptop got the same performance. I looked up some benchmarks online and systems with the same specs got 300+ fps all the time. And i have a 144hz display, so i would like to get some more. ;)

I will try out what u suggestet me later today.
