Whats up guys, just curious as to what people could do with a $3500 budget, mainly gaming and editing so needs a fair bit of power.
The site i'll be using is www.pccasegear.com.au
So would be good to go off there prices and i know for certain i'd like a 1080ti put in.
Would also like 16GB RAM minimum.
I have no preference towards intel or amd.
interested in seeing what people can come up with :)

Both of these builds are $700 cheaper than the aforementioned build. If you want to go Intel:

Which would be better and more powerful for editing as i know my current pc's cpu struggles to run games and record at the same time? Kinda want it to be over kill to be safe so if there's anything better again up to an extra $700 chuck it in as i don't want to be upgrading any time soon. Also would i be able to run triple monitors on these builds?

For all your intended purpose, including all that you have listed above, this will be the most appropriate build capable of handling anything you throw at it.

Honestly you could go either way. I hear Ryzen is better for editing because it has the ability to process video faster than Intel. Although if you're going to do video editing I would actually suggest the new Intel X299 platform, though since it's brand new there's no word on price but I would look into that as well.
