Hi, people.

Hi, people.

This is a brand new card. I've just installed on my computer (that's also new) and went for OS installation, etc. First thing, LAN not detected. Downloaded the driver from MSI and... well, it took a while, an odd while I would say, but finally it decided to work after reboot.

The thing is that the network connection is acting weirdly. After login, it takes between 30 sec to 1 min before it detects the connection. Before it's in a "cable disconnected" state. It is also reflected on the router, where I can't see the LED indicating connection for this time.

I tried to unplug and plug again the cable, restart and see. It was even worse. It didn't work at all. Changed the ports at the router, reconnected the cable on the pc and, after the 30+ sec it decided to work again.

Should I send the piece back? I still think it might be a driver problem.

Some specs:
i3 7100 with stock cooler (which is doing fine, BTW)
2x4GB DDR4 G.Skill
MSI B250M Mortar Arctic mATX
Thermaltake V21 core
Corsair TX-550W Gold
Win 10 Pro N

Thanks in advance for the help

Solution
Well, I found the problem: the metal bracket from the back panel of the motherboard was going into the LAN connection. I just adjusted the back panel and everything was back to normal.

What a shame :p
