Since I have made my SSD work, I have only installed a graphics driver and an internet driver. This means that I'm using Windows default sound driver. However, this has made me feel like there is less bass in general when I'm my HyperX Cloud II headset compared to when I was not using Windows default sound driver when I was using my HDD.
Is this a placebo effect, or is it possible that the bass frequency is lower because I am not using my Motherboard's sound driver CD or a sound driver CD from MSI's website? (My motherboard is the MSI Z87-G45 motherboard). However, as far as I remember, I did not change the bass frequency when I was not using Windows default sound drivers.
The reason I haven't installed other drivers, such as the intel chipset driver or another sound driver, is that I have read that I don't have any reason to as long as my system is working fine.
Thanks in advance
