Hi all
I am planning to build a new PC that I will mainly use for photo editing (90% of the time, Photoshop, Lightroom, and similar) and some sporadic Video editing (10% of the time).
I am undecided between i7-7700k and Ryzen 7 1700x.
I understand that Intel's single core performance is much superior to Ryzen, and that PS & LR use mainly single core. On the other side I believe that AMD platform is more "future proof", especially if I increase the share of video editing or also photo editing softwares go in the direction of multiple cores.
But again the AMD platform is new and, from what I read, with plenty of bugs.
What would you recommend?
