I have used Logitech mice and keyboard, wired and wireless, multiple series for years. I have been using the same mouse on this computer for 2 years and no problems, this keyboard for 2 years no problem. Pretty intensive usage and they still hold up. The last time one broke on us was 2 years ago after about 3 years of usage. Are there any better brands? I have used K120's K360's M100's, M325's M510's and M560's all on different PC's. They are really reliable. Again, any better price to durability?

I'm partial to Razer products. They offer a range of mouses and other peripherals that suit different gaming styles. More of a premium brand, but I've never had any issues with their equipment. A neat thing Razer does for their consumers is the Razer Synapse software. With that, you can build and store presets of key mappings for different games. That data is stored on their cloud, so any time you reinstall a game or operating system, all the presets you had set for your games are backed up.

New York city mice are big a juicy just add BBQ sauce!

All joking aside.. Logitech is a good mouse brand. Probably the most commonly used 3rd party mouse brand.
I use the MK550 wireless set. I've also used some Microsoft hardware that worked quiet well buy many people are anti microsoft because of windows.

I recommend you to try the Corsair M65 Pro RGB mouse if you get the chance (assuming you are looking to buy a new mouse). It is very high quality and very durable with quite a number of features. P.S. Been using it for about 6 months with a Corsair K70 mechanical keyboard.

Adding my anecdotal observations:

Owned:

3 Razer Mice (2 Death Adders, 1 Ouros? Small Wireless)
2 Logitech (Performance MX, and current G502 Proteus Spectrum)

Never had issues with any of them...but I would say that Logitech always felt better (i.e., less gimmicky)

I just had to replace my Razer Death Adder Chroma mouse after the left click button constantly double clicked. This was my second Razer product to die an untimely death, and my last. I won't buy their over-priced products again. I replaced the mouse with a Corsair Harpoon RGB with the same layout for $20.00 less.

Sorry to hear that. My Naga mouse has been treating me well since 2011 :(

To me the most functionality packed into an ergonomic mouse I have used has come in the Logitech M510 Wireless. You dont need to charge it, I have kept it on 24/7 for 6 months before I have to replace batteries. Definitely low maintenance and with the Logitech Drivers you can set the side to side scroll wheel and back and forward button to do different things, even gestures like holding down the scroll while moving the mouse to the left. I have found it to be great for modeling like I like to. To quickly switch hotbars and tools in photoshop or sketchup is really helpful. 7 button mouse (not including scrolling the wheel) (but including moving the wheel to the left and right) for $15 is really good. Unfortunately mine gave out unusually, the first time I have had a logitech product give out unexpectedly before 2 years of use.
