I have had this mouse since like February and I have a problem the top part of the left click has a piece of plastic under it which presses in to the button underneath but it broke at first I thought the mouse died but after a little shake of the mouse the piece came out. I have never misused the mouse but was playing CSGO when all of a sudden the LMB felt slightly more mushy and then stopped working I am not sure what to do if I take the mouse apart it will void warranty (some screws are hidden as there are what i believe to be 2 holes with a metallic foil piece over them concealing what I think are buttons and there may be some more under the mouse feet)

1) Will this be covered under warranty (according to corsair warranty guide with product you may need to pay shipping and import charges which i think may cost at least 30% of mouse value or even more especially if they do not cover it under warranty I will be charged more)

2) If I do end up taking my mouse apart what should I do

but I think i may need to pay shipping and handling as well as taxes as I am from the UK but I am sure it will ship to the US but will see and do you know how long you think it will be till I receive a replacement as ALL other mice I have are being used on other PC's in the house I have the Logitech G600 on another PC which gets used a lot and have a cheap wireless Logitech one for a laptop which I never use but my family use that a lot
the G600 was my former daily driver and I wanted the Scimitar but got the M65 to see how good it was going to be I may give the M65 to my brother and get the Scimitar

UPDATE just checked corsair website and they are asking for so many details as if they do not want anyone to make a claim unless it can 100% be proven to be a fault in the product they want all these details such as credit card info and other things just in case anything does go wrong they will charge that credit card and if they receive a damaged box they will also charge you I mean why if the shipping company is to blame why charge the customer

Honorable
I'm sorry I have no idea how long it would be. I haven't tried the scimitar but I have owned several corsair mice and I liked them all. Of course that may just be bias because they match my peripherals setup. Lol. Maybe you could locate a broken one on eBay or something and use it for parts. I've never closely looked at mine, does it look difficult to take apart? I'm not at home I'm on my iPad or I'd look myself. Upon thinking about it did you buy it from a source in the UK? If so I would doubt if they made you pay for shipping to the US and pay taxes because they were doing business in your country.
