Hi,

Was wondering if my current PSU, a 550W SEASONIC S12G-550 (https://seasonic.com/product/s12g-550/) can support the following configuration load:

Intel DBS1400FP Server Board
Intel Xeon E5-2470 CPU (95W TDP)
2 x LSI Raid Controllers
18 x 2.5" SSD
8 x 3.5" HDD

No video card or anything else.

The number of cables and connectors are sufficient but I am not sure about the amperage/wattage on the rails.

Thanks for your help.

That would be with all drives working at the same time which is going to be based on how you setup/run your system. Being a quality unit and if you do not have it reading writing to all drives at the same time I would try it. Its internal protection would shut everything down before any damage. Of course a bigger 5V rail unit would be a safe bet.

Do you think 25A would be a sufficiently safe bet? The system would have to be really running full tilt to hit the 26.3A shown in the PSU analysis?
