What is yalls experience with buying a laptop from Dell??

Ok so I bought a laptop from Dell.com on the 25th of May. It's the Inspiron 15 7000 gaming series. On the website it said if I ordered it before 2pm that it would ship that day. It's now may 31st and it still hasn't shipped. My estimates delivery dates are 6/1 - 6/8. I did upgrade the Display from the TN panel to the IPS but while I was talking to guy on the phone he said there shouldn't be a build time because they already had them built like that. When I check the status of my order it just says confirmed. Has anyone else ever had this happen? I'm just being very impatient. I want my laptop lol

I have ordered with 2 day shipping and then the product finally comes 2 weeks later. It's not a rare occasion. There is no need to worry. If it only says confirmed, that means your laptop hasn't even left the shipping depot yet. Things get backed up, just be patient and it will come.

It said it went into shuttle phase may 26th and the average time for that phase is 4 days 23 hours. I'm going to assume that since Monday was a holiday that they don't count that as a day. It was supposed to have been sent out for delivery on the 31st.
