Did My GPU Die?

I've got a Sapphire Vapor-X R9 290, had for 3 years. Just last week my computer blue screened while in game, then on restart there were artifacts all over my screen. I left it off for a day or so and it started working again, but I noticed 2/3 fans weren't running. Then just today, it crashed again while in Overwatch, I received the message "Your rendering device has been lost" and my computer crashed again.

Now on startup it's a complete black screen and rarely will make it to Win 10 login, if it does it will artifact and it'd be impossible to move past that.

So, has my GPU just died? I have a 750W Power Supply and I figured this was the only solution, just want to make sure before buying a new card. Thanks.

Solution
yeah i would try to test the gpu first

other possibility? 1 of the rails on your psu might have died. if its a multi rail psu it could still power the system (all be it in an unstable way) and would cause artefacts due to a lack of clean power
honestly though it does sound like its a dying gpu problem.

I was misled by the LED Temperature Display, it didn't dramatically increase. Didn't occur to me to check temps with 3rd party software. :/
