Okay so I just bought a new computer
today
The Specs are :-
INTEL PENTIUM G4400
ASUS H110M-D
CORSAIR VALUESELECT 4Gb 2133 MHz
CORSAIR CX430M
Msi gaming x GTX 1050TI 4GB
Thermaltake n25
WD Blue 1tb 7200rpm
Transcend 256gb SSD

Now my problem is as you may have understood that I got just sh*t just
4gb of Ram. Now my father actually bought it for my birthday but he got just 4gb so I am asking i put another 16 gb in the other slot will my pc work (will i have 8+4=12gb or will it be just 8gb) I wil purchase 2133 MHz CORSAIR VALUESELECT only for compatibility

What will you be using the computer for?
It should work but it's best to use matching pairs. Can you return the 4GB? Your 2 best options are to get another matching 4GB and have 8GB total, or return the 4GB and buy a 16GB kit (2x8).
