I ordered a new MSI A68HM-E33 V2 AMD 6300 2x3.7 GHZ combo board with on board Radeon 8370D graphics. I installed a

Micron- 2 GB DDR3 1600 MHz PC3-12800 Desktop Memory stick and installed in my case with a working HP HIPRO 300 watt

24 pin power supply and a working Seagate Barracuda 1tb SATA drive. The CPU fan runs, but it won't boot up, no

post, no BIOS, no display, no beeps.....just a blank black screen on my working CRT monitor, "no connection" on my

working HP LCD monitor. I bought the combo board from portatech.com, they recommend Ballistix Crucial 2GB DDR3-1600

Memory and a 400W Power Supply. Could the 300W power supply or the Micron memory stick be my problem or did

portatech.com mess up the setup ( I checked the power switch board hookup 5 times to be sure I have it plugged in

right, and tried it outside of the case with plastic standoffs to make sure that there was no shorts and still the

same...fan runs, nothing else, and the power supply and monitors work fine on my HP tower.)

First I would make sure the psu is working properly, this would be the most likely cause I would think.

If your psu is working fine, next I would look at your ram, Making sure you place them in properly, try placing one stick of ram in at a time, you might find that one of the dimm slots on the motherboard are faulty

Then the last and least likely thing I would look at would be checking your CPU pins and the pins on your motherboard and make sure none are bent or damaged
