Nvidia's HDMI darkens the colours on TV

Hello,

I have searched online for solutions to my problem but non of it has worked yet.

First let me start how I have the setup and afterwards the problem. I have 2 desktops (yes I mean 2 different towers) side by side with 1 monitor each and on top a TV and more specifically
LG 42F652V http://www.lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-42LF652V
Both towers are connected via HDMI to the TV and to 1 monitor. The 1st tower is connected via DVI with it's monitor and the other tower via HDMI to it's monitor. First tower uses
ASUS AMD 270 https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/R9270DC2OC2GD5/
and the second tower uses Asus ROG Strix 1070 OC
https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING/

Now the problem:
When I play a video from the 1070 to TV the colours are darker than they should. Not just a little bit, A LOT darker. The same video when it's played by the 270 to TV, it has normal colours. The funny thing is that I also have an ASUS GTX 760 that when I install it in either tower the colours remain dark but not as dark as when the 1070 is used. Also both monitors have the correct colours displayed, just the TV has this issues.
I am sorry if I confused you so far...

What I have tried:
Changing refresh rates, 4 different HDMI cables, changing the dynamic range to full from limited (Nvidia control panel), using all modes for displaying to TV (cloning, only to TV, etc) and of course DDU and reinstall of drivers.

Any thoughts???????????

Thank you in advance

Solution

As I said, I have already tried that. This is the first time after 2 months searching that the colours have been right on the TV (with the Nvidia cards). I also tested it with the 760 and it works like a charm.

The problem is that there were no problems with the other tower (so I can exclude color temperatures and generally settings being done on the TV's menu. Also, why in the hell the 760 will have the same problem only less dark?

I will try the color settings per input and see if it works.

Changing the refresh rate is not the best way to do it, under RGB options in Change Resolution screen, change it to Full if not set to that already. That may help.
