Wireless USB adapters - security

Hi folks,

I just got a new USB wireless adapter (TP-LINK TL-WN822N) and might return it, but I was wondering if I were to use it and connect it with my home Wifi network, will it remember/store all of my network information (e.g. network name, password etc) and possibly allow someone this information if I were to return the product?

you just go to Wireless management and remove your wifi from it.

The reason I ask is because I may return the product and I don't want my wifi network name, password etc stored on the USB wireless adapter so someone else can access that information...

Any advice appreciated

I don't think the adapter store anything, it's windows that store the info.

What the other guy said , stored by windows not by the adapter.

Even if it did store this info it would be useless to anyone anyway.
