Hi there,

I bought parts and put my PC together around 6 months ago.

For the past 2 weeks I have started getting blue screens happening with errors that when I google always seem to be about memory issues. Some talking about the 'kernal' others like 'SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORUPTION'.

I ran memtest86 and got many errors, but I'm not really sure what to do with the information that it has given,

I hope you can see the above picture.

Any help with working out my issues would be great.

Thanks.

Solution
Run memtest86 on one stick of RAM at a time. That should allow you to determine if just 1 RAM stick is bad. If you are using a 64 bit operating system, you could also try the newer memtest64. I have not tried the new memtest64 myself, but others on this forum have recommended it.

My Specs:
Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB (2x8) 3000MHZ DDR4
Asus H170 Pro Gaming
Asus STRIX GTX1080
Intel core i5-6600k
Corsair CXM750 PSU
120gb SSD SATA 3

I will try do the sticks individually now, might take 20 mins.

one of the sticks passed the other didn't when I ran them individually through memtest86.

I will try with just 1 for now and see if I continue to get Blue screens, thanks for the answers guys.
