Hi, this is my first time posting here so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread or doing something wrong. I'm not clued up on anything PC related so I thought asking on a forum like this would be my best option. I'm looking to buy a PC that can play games such as minecraft and sims 4. I found this PC second hand online, is it okay for gaming? Here are the specs:

Case Fan: 2 x Quiet 120mm Fans

Power Supply: Standard 650W

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200

Heatsink & CPU Fan: Standard Heatsink & CPU Fan

Motherboard: Asrock G31M-S

Memory: 4GB (2 X 2GB) Kingston PC6400 800Mhz DDR2

PCI-E Graphics: 512MB ATI HD4670

Sound Card: Integrated 5.1 Channel Audio

Primary Hard Drive: 250GB 7200rpm SATA II

Main Optical Drive: 22x Dual Layer DVD +/- Rewriter

Network Adapter: PCI 802.11g 54Mbps Wireless

Front USB Ports: 2 Front USB Ports

Back USB Ports: 4 Back USB Ports

As I said I'm a noob so I have no clue, thanks in advance! :D

to me, that's too much for a computer that old. you could probably find a used computer with...
We're happy you ask questions instead of make an uninformed purchase and regret the decision. So no worries :D

That being said, I wouldn't recommend buying that PC. Too many unknown factors (what kind of power supply specifically, and how much was the hardware used) in addition to all of the hardware being old. For the right price, this might be worth having, but for that price you might be able to find much better.

What is your budget?

Thanks :D
It's about £120 including shipping, I have about a £200 budget, I kind of have no clue what I'm looking for to be honest so sites like these seem really useful for some expert advice :D

Fair enough, do you have a monitor, keyboard/mouse, or does the budget need to make room for that as well?

They are asking for £120 including shipping, they have stated on the listing
"Comes with Windows 7 Ultimate (trial version), where have I just done a clean reinstall. So PC is wiped and ready to go. Also have full license copy of windows vista in the box if needed."

The PC comes with a monitor, keyboard and mouse which seems pretty decent, kind of looking to buy something that has all those things included :)

windows has never had a trial version. sounds like they just installed an unactivated version of windows 7 and possibly a pirated version since no one really goes for the ultimate version so this deal sounds too shady to me

So basically no OS.
You have to add that ~£90 to the price.
