Moving hard drive to new pc

If you are not using the drive as a boot drive, you can just move it and delete what you don't need manually if you have extra files.
The new pc will recognize the drive.. You can actually just go to it and format it.
Not sure about win7 but win10 open file manager.. Click on "this pc" find the new drive.. Right click and find format. It will delete everything on it for you on the new system. Make sure u dont format your boot drive

You can't format a boot drive from inside Windows, it won't let you.
